@ Peter Twieg: That Super Mario World clip reminds me of the Super Mario World (Kaizo Edition). That game took me forever to beat.

The reason why the Duck Tales game had the best music ever is because it was the combination of all the catchy music people at Capcom, AND the people who wrote jingles for Disney Afternoon Cartoons! How can you lose?

You know, I never used Mario Paint. And now I really want to.

My mother bought me some non-console game once for children when I was like six. I think it really kicked off my gaming. In my head, it was a giant market place with animation and unlimited possibilities. I’m 99% sure it was the lamest thing created, but you could make songs on it. I used to make Zelda’s theme.

I used Mario Paint to make some really spaced-out new age music, with random sounds here and there. I guess I was pretty spaced out, I could sit hours by the screen just… spacing. I was about 11, and I hadn’t discovered pot yet! ha!
