WoW is probably one of the best examples of this whole phenomenon simply because of the sheer number of people Blizzard has managed to suck in; it's also probably one of the easiest MMO's to pick up (versus a higher learning curve in EVE, etc.). When you spend 15 hours+ a week with people, it's difficult <i>not</i> to get to know them. @RiotMonster Thanks a lot. I’m glad you enjoyed it. WoW is probably one of the best examples of this whole phenomenon simply because of the sheer number of people Blizzard has managed to suck in; it’s also probably one of the easiest MMO’s to pick up (versus a higher learning curve in EVE, etc.). When you spend 15 hours+ a week with people, it’s difficult not to get to know them.
